TPM: Trusted Platform Model 2.0 is a hardware based security feature that can be used to create and manage computer-generated encryption keys. It allows you to secure and encrypt your passwords, and keys outside of the drive. Because the decryptions are locked by the TPM, an attacker cannot read the data just by removing a hard disk and installing it in another computer.
